Trick-or-Treat Weekends at Storybook Land

Families visiting Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township, Saturdays and Sundays from October 22nd-October 30th, can climb aboard the Happy Hayride to pick a pumpkin, and decorate it just in time for Halloween. Then, find your way through Elmer’s Haymazin’ Maze, and pick up treat bags.

Witches Day Out at Historic Smithville

Get spooked as Historic Smithville hosts Witch’s Day Out on Sunday, October 23. Wear your witch’s hat and enter the hat contest. Parade and judging takes place between 3:30pm and 4:30pm. Winners are announced thereafter at the Smithville Inn. Food and drinks specials are offered. Please stop into the Shoppes with your hat and see what deals await you. Historic Smithville offers 50 Shoppes, 7 eateries, a carousel ride, train ride, paddle boats, arcade, on site lodging at the Colonial Inn and over 26 free weekend events.

Halloween Parade & Dance Party

This lively local parade set for Friday, October 21st features music, strolling entertainers, floats, local organizations, and many well-costumed entertainers and revelers. Following the parade, stick around for the Halloween Family Dance Party.

Ocean City Halloween Parade

Feast your eyes upon creative costumes and floats, antique vehicles, and cheerleading and dance teams. The event takes place in Ocean City on Asbury Avenue, from 6th Street to 11th Street on Thursday, October 27th.

North Wildwood Trunk or Treat Halloween Block Party

Get your car decked out for Halloween at this annual festive family event in North Wildwood scheduled for Saturday, October 29th. Costumed children can visit each car, where families will provide treats from the trunks. Balloon twisting adds to the fun. There is no judging of the children’s costumes, but prizes are awarded to the vehicles with the best decorations.

Trick or Treat at Physick Estate

Spooky characters greet Halloween visitors to the Physick Estate in Cape May on Monday, October 31st. Kids in costume should bring their trick-or-treat bags for candy. Enjoy Halloween music and Scarecrow Alley as well.

Ghoul Spring Village at Historic Cold Spring Village

Take a spooky walk through Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May during its fourth annual Ghoul Spring Village October 21st-October 22nd. The family-friendly haunted walk features characters representing the land of the living and the world of the dead.

Costume Pet Parade

Paw Dazzle hosts Historic Smithville Village’s annual Costume Pet Parade on Saturday, October 15th. Spectators can watch more than 100 pets show off their special Halloween get-ups.

Boo at the Zoo

Visitors of all ages should come in costume to this annual Halloween event at the Cape May County Zoo, sponsored by the Cape May County Board of Commissioners. Enjoy kid-friendly fun, candy, entertainment, plenty of animals, an inflatable obstacle course, and more. The costume contest registration begins at 10am with the competition taking place at 11am on Saturday, October 29th. Catch plenty of holiday-themed animal enrichment throughout the zoo, too.
